A particle is projected vertically upwards from a point A on the ground. It takes time t₁ to reach a point B but it still continues to move up. If takes further t₂ time to reach the ground from point B. Then find the height of Point B from ground?

for ground to ground,

0 = u(t₁+t₂) - 1/2g(t₁+t₂)²
or u = 1/2 g(t₁+t₂)

for A to B h= ut₁ - 1/2gt₁²

or h= 1/2gt₁t₂
