so the k's of the divided springs are 3k each.
now, the resultant k is: 1/k' = 1/(3k+3k) + 1/3k = 1/2k
=> k' = 2k
so timeperiod= 2Î √m/2k
initially it wss: 2Î √m/k
so its √2 times .
