yep it increases as the freq. of the forced ossilation tends to the natural frequesncy of the system (resonance freq.) !! and ofter crossing that it decreases again!!!!!!
please explain whether it is correct or wrong

It increase first ,reaches maxxima and then decreases
Smaaler the damping ,larger is the amplitude at resonance and greater is the rapididty with which it falls with frequency on either side of resonance.In ideal case of ZERO damping..........amplitude of vibration becomes infinite.....[1][1]
