simple gravitation sum just want to check sime unites

Ques1) Calculate the change in the value of g at altitude 45 defree. Take radius of earth = 6370 km.

Ques2) Determine the speed with which the earth would have to rotate on it's axis , so that a person on the equator would weigh 3/5 th as much as present. Take R = 6400 km.
the 2nd one is easy w is coming as 1/100 ...... so v=64ms could anyone pls check this

and in th efirst question altitude of 45 means what hieght

formula for change in g due to change in longitude is

gchaned=g-rw2cos2x

where w= angular velocity of earth

1)ur question is wrong it shud have been latitude.u cant find change in g due to altitude unless u know the height.altitude 0f 45 will not give u any height.

2)3/5= 10 -6400w2cos0
ie 3/5=10-6400w2. find w and then v=rw=6400*w
