as the string is bend by angle âˆ‚,where âˆ‚=thita
the tension would have two components.Tcosâˆ‚ would be balanced by the weight mg and Tsinâˆ‚ by ma(Force due to accn.)
so,Tsinâˆ‚=ma, Tcosâˆ‚ = mg and divide to get a=g tanâˆ‚
