Hint:
You can approach in two ways. Either you take upper part till C of the string or lower part of the string from C. Then you have to make the length constant of that part, same like the constraint relation.
Aditya Agarwal sir, if v2 is diff from v1, wont the string become stretched? because if we pull the upper free end by a distance x, the lower one(attached to the block) should move left by a distance x) and the one of the left( whose vel. you've written as v1) should move rightwared by (x/2) ? if not, where am i going wrong?

Akash Anand For the given question V1 is not given. If it would be 1.5m/s towards right then your answer would be correct

Akash Anand Yeah for this case we can do that also ..but in general it should be given.
