Considering the refractive index of ice to be more than air I think it is C.

Aditya Agarwal But the answer given is A. And i think C would still be incorrect, even if r.i. of ice were considered to be more, because when the ray would be emerging it would deviate further down, not up?

Soumyadeep Basu @Aditya, In case of C, the refracting surfaces are parallel to each other. So the given diagram is correct if r.i. of ice is greater.
