Two blocks of mass m lie on smooth table having reflecting surfaces AB and CD.An object O is placed b/w them and system is released.Find acc. of one image wrt other.

If object moves by x then the image moves by 2x , does this help ?

on one force=3mg so acc. 3/4 g on second force = 2mg so acc. is 2/3 g now acc. of images are 6/4 g and 4/3 g . relative acc. of images are 6/4 g + 4/3 g = 17/ 6 g
