One more thing..
At a very fine level there are too many more than 7 colors.. (Like there are many many shades of each color!)
in +2 u will learn abt dispersion,There are many of ways for dispersin of light.One of the interesting way to observe the spectrum is newton's rings method.u can get it in wikipedia
