Unimolecular reaction is the one in which in which only 1 molecule takes part in the reaction.....1st order is the one in which teh rate of reaction depends on the concentration of only 1 molecule.
What is the difference between unimolecular and 1st order reaction??...

unimolecular reaction is one i which there is only one molecule involved in the rate determining step. ( this might mean others are in too high or too low conc) and only altering of its conc has some effect on the rxn
i think better to post it under physical chem
