-OH is not introduced in place of OH but SO3H is introduced at para and ortho position (Sulphonation)
what happens a) when sodium tertiary butoxide istreated with alcoholic KOH? b)chlorobenzene is heated with conc.H2SO4

in a) part double bond will form when acomp is teated with alc. KOH n sodium tertiary butoxide....n that is also from less sterically hindered sight...
b)when RX is heated with conc. H2SO4 then -OH group is introduced in place of halide.

for introducing the sulphonic group we actually use "fuming sulphuric acid"
