kyun naa sochoon?????diff approach se answer diff aa raha hai..........agar yehi ques jee mein aaya to kya karoonga?????likh doonga,,, integrations ne kaha tha ki socho mat......[3][3]
i hope u didnt mind......
stat 1: alkynes are more reactive than alkenes towards electrophilic addition.
stat 2 : alkyne have more pi- electron density than alkene.

arey bhai soch ....dimag haath mein pakad aur sooch
bt tahts wud definately turn into a cypher !
lo karlo baat........ek to main itne dino baad chem ko deep mein soch kar padne ki koshish kar raha hoon ........aur mujhe roka jaa raha hai.....[3][3]
kewl :P
mat soch yaar ......dimag pehele hi kaam ni karta kyun pareshan hote ho itna ......
doubt ye hai ki stat1 kinetics ki baat kar rahi hai ya thermodynamics ki baat kar rahi hai.............
arey sochna aachi baat hai bt jyaada deep mein mat jao this jee dnt demand taht yaar itna thermodynamically n kineticcally yeh sab .yaar thoda xtra hai :P
stmnt 1 is rite
c
in alkynes d carbon is sp hybridised so it holds d eltrons nicely so it cnt give elctrons 2 d elctrophile weeas in alkenes carbon is sp hybridised so can shre elctrons
haan u all are correct ...
but it seems i am really out of form today :'(
Stat 1
are u talking about kinetics or thermodynamics of reaction............
thermodynamically yes
kinetically no......
ya statement 1 is false because in alkynes, C is sp hybridised so s-character is more.. so orbitals lie closer to nucleus and hence are less dispersed then the electron cloud in alkene but obviously, alkynes have more electron density
