2nd one is also reducing because of the free anomeric carbon in the right chain!

the first compound has 2 anomeric carbons in the left chain .. 1 is free 1 is bonded .. so it is reducing as 1 is free !

A reducing sugar occurs when its anomeric carbon (the carbon which is linked to two oxygen atoms) is in the free form.
resonance is correct .. 1st is reducing !!
