sorry but i don't think 1 mole of KOH will give a "triple bond"

why not ? then you mean to say that a cumulated system is stabler than a triple bond ?????

i thought that ALC. KOH will attack the unhindered carbon first and then the answer would be 2 chloroprop-1-ene!!!

alc KOH prefers E₁ reaction mechanism thereby going for the more stable carbocation !
