ibuprofen((CH3)2CHCH2(C6H4)CH(CH3)COOH) is an analgesic drug which is chiral and exists as 2 enantiomers.1 of the enantiomers is physiologically active with desired analgesic effect while the other is inactive.then y is ibuprofen sold as a racemic mixture and not as its physiologacally active enantiomer??
