How can u prepare benzene from lime ??

Agar sodalime hai(CaO) then we react benzoic acid in presence of NaOH with it.

no u cant use benzoic acid..apart from lime try to use only very common reagents ..ex : H₂O

found d solution today in a magazine...ne1 trying ??else il post the solution.

dude can u convert CaO + C into calcium carbide n den prepare ethyne from it....n den heating ethyne in cupper tube will give benzene...?????
