2nd one will be most nucleophile
followed by 3rd then 4th and then 1st..
My reason.. + I effect on O will be in this order....
Check if correct?
i wrote the answer richa.
compound padoo, itna tho aatha ahian mujhe although i am not a genious like u and srinath in organic chemistry.
BUT SIR HERE ANS GIVEN IS 1>4>3>2
I THINK IT IS ACC TO STEARIC CROWDING
BUT WHY???
no richa.. steric hinderance should not be an issue..
:(
but what book is it from?
nucleo 'philicity' = love for nucleophile...
=> species should be more deficient in electrons
then only it can love nucleophiles...
so if we compare among the four,
second one has 3° carbon, so highest electron concentration ... [i think uundrstant wat i wanna say !! ]
and similarly think for the rest of them....
nuceophile has a tendency to 'give' electrons...
but in nucleophilicity, the compound has to be e- - deficient...
areyyy ... not deficient dear...
but compare the electron richness of each of them ...
compare among themselves...
