106it woud be the ortho position wrt OCH3 group as halogens are EWG but are o-p directing (very weak) hence OCH3 is stronger ERG than halogens. So it wud be ortho position wrt OCH3 as para position already contains the -Cl group

1the activating group will control the reaction..........i think OCH3 is more activating, hence the carbon atom ortho to OCH3 will be nitrated
