i think metallic hydrides......... no particular reasons

i was looking for an option "intersticial hydrides"....but since that wasn't there, i went for metallic hydrides..

non stoichiometric,wats the meaning

non-stoichiometric means that there won't be a perfect ratio between the metal and hydrogen

like in H₂O, the ratioof number of hydrogen atoms :water atoms is 2:1

in non-stoichiometric compunds, the ratio will be something like 1:0.95
