I think I still remember some of these...
1) I think it's ethene...silver will abstract Br and leave a primary carbocation. As no nucleophile is present, the cation will lose a proton to form a double bond.
2) I happened to find this from my notes.
Write the structural formula of the product formed when
1)Bromoethane reacts with one-half of the molar quantity of silver
2)Chloral is heated with aqueous sodium hydroxide.
