See in the first one 3 moles of HI will be used to form 123triiodocyclohexane and then three pentanol are formed which will be further attacked by HI to form 1iodocyclopentane so overall 6 moles of HI used
2nd... three moles of HI used to form 123triiodopropane and three moles of water molecule formed
3rd ...three moles of HI used to from 123triiodocyclohexane and three moles of phenol is formed ..phenol cannot be further attacked by Hi as C-O bond in phenol is very strong..

in 2. after triiodopropane is formed. I2 will be eliminated and another HI will attack and so on.. so more than 4 moles will be used
