It is a free radical chlorination. So it is chlorinated at the benzylic carbon atom.
What is the product formed formed when Methylbenzene is treated with SO2Cl2 in presence of peroxides?Thanks.

EASY..CLORINATION WILL TAKE PLACE..IN PRESENCE OF EXCESS SO2CL2, C6H5CHCl2(benzal chloride) will be formed
