To a 10 ml 1 M aqueous solution of Br₂, excess of NaOH is added so that all Br₂ changes to Br^- and BrO₃^-. The resulting solution is freed from Br^- by extraction and excess of OH^- is neutralized by acidifying the solution. The resulting solution is just sufficient to react with 1.5 gm of an impure CaC₂O₄ sample. Find percentage purity.
