1)Calculate the value of Avogadro constant from the internuclear distance of
adjacent ion in NaCl is 0.282 nm and the density of soild NaCl formula units is 2.17 × 103 kg/m3
2) From the following standard electrode potentials at 25ºC. Cu2+ + 2e = Cu, Eº = + 0.34 V Cu2+ + e = Cu+, Eº = + 0.15 V
Calculate the equilibrium constant of the reaction Cu + Cu2+ = 2Cu+

Ans 2) Dunno if it's correct or not
Cu2+ + 2e- → Cu, ................ Eº = + 0.34 V
Cu2+ + e- → Cu+ ................ Eº = + 0.15 V
Cu + Cu2+ → 2Cu+ ................ E° = + x V
Since e.m.f is an extensive property and it cannot be added whereas change in free enrgy is an extensive prop and these r additive.
Using cahnge in free energy = -nFE° , we get
(2X0.34) + (1 X 0.15) = x
Thus, x = 0.73 V
Using Nernst equation, we get
0.73 = 0.06 ln Q
Thus, ln Q = 12.166 (approx.)
and Q= ......
