E=E0-RT/NF ln[A0/A]
E0=0.3V
I THINK BASICALLY THAT WITH THE CHANGE OF SALT BRIDGE( USED 4 BETTER MOVEMENT OF IONS) WITH A COPPER WIRE THE E0 MAY DROP TO ZERO AS THE CELL WILL BECOME USELESS[1]
I MAY BE WRONG[2]
In a galvanic cell with Fe rod as cathode and Cr as anode and their sulphate salt solutions as electrolytes,if the salt bridge is replaced by a copper wire,then will E°cell drop to zero?why?
SRP of Fe =-0.45V
SRP of Cr = -0.75V
E=E0-RT/NF ln[A0/A]
E0=0.3V
