Someone try this.....
A small object loops a vertical loop in which a symmetrical section of angle 2a has been removed. Find the maximum and minimum heights from which the object, after loosing contact with the loop at point A and flying through the air, will reach point B. Find the corresponding angles of the section removed for which this is possible.

i've got through it......it'll be using energy conservation to find out velocity of leaving the path and it will fly off tangentially.......
Anirudh: Hint: what is the angle of projection at the point when it just leaves the curved surface?
What is the velocity ?
hence what is the range?
bhaiya are A and B the two points of the sector removed from the vertical loop.
THose in need of hint can see here

min ht - h ≥5r/2
......where r is the radius of the circular loop !
