if one opts for a higher ranked branch as first option then the second one as a lower ranked one..he ends up getting the higher one..but he wishes to join in lower branch....so will they allow to join in lower one??

Once u are alotted a choice of urs, u can't in any case move dwn, 'coz u urself had given the alotted course a gr8ter priority.
This is the case fr BITSAT applicants,..... dunno abt AIEEE.
