1equi resistance across battery will remain same naa ?
coz even if S is closed, there will be no current flowing in second R.
1how come power dissipated by the left resistor decreases
initially no current is going in it [7][7]
1when initially S is closed current flows only through left resistance,but when S ic opened,current will flows through both the resistances,hence resistance increases across battery
pot. diff b/w left res. will become E/2, power dissipated becomes 1/4th the org . value
current flown through A will become 1/2 times the org value ..
