i doubt if its so. check it out again

k. i ws givin a dimensional approach.
A - p,r,s,t
B - p,q
C - p,r,s,t
D - p,,r,t
Work=ML2T-2,Cal,Joule
Torque=ML2T-2,Nm
Energy(Mechanical)=ML2T-2,Cal,joule,kgm2s2
Energy(Thermal)=ML2T-2,Cal,Joule
BT gave the answer as
(A) − (p), (s), (t);
(B) − (p), (q), (s);
(C) − (p), (s), (t);
(D) − (p), (r), (s), (t)
kgm2/s2 is not used for thermal enrgy/ work
so they are wrong..
and cal term is used very often..so I dont see any rason why they marked it wrong...what ans did u mark ?
i had marked:
it must be written on ur question paper .. (that i had scanned)
the unit calorie as far as i have studied was not used for mechanical energy,it is used for energy which are of the form of heat.
