APply force balance:
(σ-Ï)V.g=Ï V a (V is the volume; there is boyant force in upward direction and gravity in downward)
a=(σ/Ï-1)g
We know initial velocity as √2gh
Now we have to find s using
v2=u2+2as

dimnsion, i think there should be no 2 on the numerator!
and it should be -ve of what u have!
