sin inv x/a*√b2-y2/b + y/b*√a2-x2/a = α
x/a*√b2-y2/b + y/b*√a2-x2/a =sinα

from where iitim... has left...
squaring ...
x2/a2 + y2/b2 + 2xy/ab[x/a. y/b - √1- x^2/a^2.√1- y^2/b^2] = sin2α
=> option C.
since 2xy/ab[x/a. y/b - √1- x^2/a^2.√1- y^2/b^2] = cosα
