@nishant sir
we often ignore d constraints on inverse trigo functions while + or - ing them.
dis isd flaw, rt?
thanks
tan-1y=4tan-1x.prove that tan 22.5° is a solution of x4+1=6x2
take tan on both sides,
you will get
\\y=\frac{2tan(2tan^{-1}x)}{1-2tan^2(2tan^{-1}x)} \\\Rightarrow y=\frac{2(\frac{2x}{1-x^2})}{1-2((\frac{2x}{1-x^2})^2)}
The denominator is zero.. (tan 90 degree)
Hence your result is proved....
This solution has a small mathematical flaw or a small thng which goes unsaid...... one which many often make.. What is it?>
Though the solution can be easily achieved by small manipulation.. What can make the solution more correct mathematically.
